Resurging Higher Rising Stronger

2022 is a year of recovery for the Indonesian economy, even though the COVID-19 pandemic has not yet fully subsided and the global economic condition is still fraught with uncertainty. In line with this recovery, the Bank has declared 2022 as the "Resurgence Year," which marks the beginning or revival of the Bank to start its 5-year Corporate Plan (2022-2026). Throughout 2022, the Bank has consistently made improvements in all aspects, both in terms of finance and governance and risk management.

The Bank remains committed to sustainable development in its efforts to rise higher and build stronger capacity. This is realized by implementing strategies to increase capital, manage funding sources, improve the quality of productive assets, reconstruct the organization, enhance human resource capabilities, and improve credit risk management. The Bank is also committed to continuously improving the quality of service to its customers in order to achieve the Company's vision and mission. The Bank is ready to welcome the coming year with high spirits, declaring 2023 as the "Reposition Year" by building a strong repositioning in niche markets, developing business capacity, and optimizing a larger market share.

Constant Improvements Enhancing Sustainability

PT Bank Resona Perdania (the Bank) implements a strategy of continuous improvement to provide banking products and services for the needs of the community and increase customer satisfaction. In 2022, the Bank identified and mapped its credit portfolio into sustainable finance category profiles. Furthermore, in 2023, the Bank will distribute new sustainable financial products and/or services to 5 (five) debtors/customers who have implemented sustainable finance principles.

Internally, the Bank is also building a culture of continuous improvement among its employees to strengthen their awareness and understanding of social, environmental, and governance risks, as well as to improve their work ethic and optimize human resource potential. These steps are reinforced by organizational developments such as the establishment of a management level above the Division Head, namely two (2) Senior Executive Vice Presidents (SEVP) covering the areas/functions of "Planning and Finance and Business Strategy" and "Operational, Settlement and Correspondent and Branches," the establishment of a Credit Portfolio Management Division, Business Development Division 7, and Middle Office Division.

This commitment and continuous improvement efforts are expected to encourage greater awareness of sustainability among Bank employees and relevant stakeholders. This can also support the Bank's business development targets in the local corporate segment that has business relationships with Japan. Furthermore, these efforts will be accompanied by an increase in the Bank's contribution to the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs) through CSR activities, namely BRP Cerdas (community education), BRP Sehat (community health), BRP Hijau (nature and environmental conservation), and BRP Berkelanjutan (community empowerment).
