Subject: Additional Workflow of Remittance Transaction

ANNOUNCEMENT

In connection with implementation of strengthening Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML-CFT) Principles and implementation of standardization AML-CFT in Resona Group, Bank Resona Perdania declares policy as mentioned in document Response to US OFAC Regulations^*) period January 2025. This policy is intended to prevent Bank Resona Perdania facilitating the transaction relating to sanctions, money laundering, financing of terrorism and proliferation activity, especially in trade or payments transactions. Therefore, particularly, in payment transaction, herewith we inform the change (additional) workflow of remittance transaction (outgoing and incoming of foreign currency) as follows:

I. Outgoing remittance transaction, with purpose of import, code 2012

Customer has to fill in on transfer form, additional information as follows:

Name of goods
Country of origin
Country of destination
Country of loading
Check box related/not related to transaction with sanctioned countries

The example of column of additional information on transfer form of IDR and foreign currency:

After Bank receives transfer form from Customer, Bank will conduct screening first against the additional information filled in by Customer.
According to result of screening as mentioned in point 2, Bank can ask supporting document and/or additional explanation to Customer.
Based on verification results done by Bank as mentioned in point 2 and/or 3, Bank will decide whether to process or reject the Customer’s outgoing remittance transaction.
The required supporting document mentioned in point 3 must be received by the Bank at the latest at 15.00 WIB on the same day with transaction date; if pass the time limit, then transaction is canceled and will not be processed by the Bank.
Customer can create and submit again the new transfer form to the Bank when the supporting document is already available, still refers to provision point 4.

II. Incoming remittance transaction, with purpose of export, code 1011

Bank will contact Customer by telephone to inform about incoming remittance with purpose of export code 1011 and ask for additional information relates with the incoming remittance as follows:

Name of goods
Country of origin
Country of destination
Country of loading

Based on additional information received from Customer, Bank will conduct screening first.
According to result of screening as mentioned in point 2, Bank can ask supporting document and/or additional explanation to Customer.
Based on verification results done by Bank as mentioned in point 2 and/or 3, Bank will decide whether to credit the fund to Customer’s account or reject the Customer’s incoming remittance transaction and return the fund to Sending/Ordering Bank.
The required supporting document as mentioned in point 3, must be received by Bank at the latest at 12:00 WIB on the next business day. If until cut off time at 12:00 WIB the next day (D+1) the supporting document has not been received by the Bank, Bank will return the fund to Sending/Ordering Bank.

III. The additional workflow requirements will be implemented in two (2) phases, as follows:

Phase	Amount	Effective date

Second	Any amount	March 15, 2027
